E-mail is the primary method of contact for general inquiries and user support.  Send an e-mail to UMConnect Support at umconnect@umn.edu for assistance.  E-mail support is available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, except on official University holidays.

UMConnect News
UMConnect News is an announcement service intended to keep you up-to-date on news related to UMConnect services and support. Announcements are sent via eemail from UMCONNECT-NEWS@lists.umn.edu. All UMConnect users are automatically signed-up for this service.

UMConnect Support Phone Number
Sending e-mail to UMConnect Support at umconnect@umn.edu is the preferred and fastest way to receive support from the UMConnect Support Team. If you wish to talk to a consultant, you can leave a brief message (including a phone number and when you can be reached) at the UMConnect Support number 612-626-9990 between 8AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (except on official University holidays), and a consultant will contact you.

On-Site Technical Assistance for Webcasts of Meeting or Events
On-site technical assistance for webcasts of meetings and events through UMConnect is available through OIT AV Event Support, a division of OIT Video Solutions. There is a fee for this service.  Please see Requesting On-Site Technical Assistance for a Webcast for additional information.

1-HELP Technology Helpline
The 1-HELP Technology Helpline provides technical assistance with Internet ID's and passwords, network connections, and other technology related issues.  Contact the Technology Helpline at 612-301-HELP (1-HELP on campus) for assistance.  Additional information on the 1-HELP Technology Helpline is available on the web at http://1help.umn.edu/.
