UMConnect services will be unavailable between 12:00pm (noon) and 3:00pm on Sunday, October 7, 2007
UMConnect services (UMConnect Meetings, Training modules, and Presentations) will be unavailable between 12:00pm (noon) and 3:00pm on Sunday, October 7, 2007 for installation of Adobe Connect Enterprise 6 Service Pack 3.
Service Pack 3 is a necessary patch that provides bug fixes and improvements to UMConnect services. After the update, the following will be required when using UMConnect services:
- Flash Player 8 or higher installed on Windows or Mac to view content or participate in meetings. Users below these requirements will be prompted to install an updated Flash Player.
- A new Meeting Add-in for Meeting hosts and presenters. Users will automatically be prompted to download and install the new add-in.
Enhancements to UMConnect meetings include:
- Intel-Mac support. With SP3, participants, presenters, and meeting hosts, will be fully supported when using an Intel-Mac computer.
- Windows Vista Support. With SP3, participants, presenters, and meeting hosts, will be fully supported on the Winows Vista operating system.
- Enhanced “Turbo-screen sharing” offering improved video and screen sharing frame rates and quality while lowering bandwidth requirements.
